Director

Carol J. Lancaster

Carol Lancaster is a professor in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. She is the author of numerous books and articles on international politics and international development. She has also served in various positions in the US government, including Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Africa and Deputy Administrator of USAID.

Program Coordinator

Aliz Agoston

Aliz Agoston manages the center's operations in addition to assisting the director with foreign policy research. She is a recent graduate of  Georgetown University's Master of Business Administration program and has a Master's Degree in English.

Executive Committee

The Center director works closely with an Executive Committee comprised of the Dean of the School of Foreign Service, faculty in the Center and other related departments of Georgetown University. The Executive Committee meets on a regular basis to establish the goals and direction of the Center's activities, and to facilitate coordination amongst the various interested parties within the University and the larger international relations community in Washington, DC who are associated with the Center.
