Title: Welcoming a New Class of MURFs

The Mortara Center is thrilled to welcome six new Mortara Undergraduate Research Fellows (MURFs) to our community! The MURF program is a four-year research apprenticeship for undergraduate School of Foreign Service (SFS) students with the goal of empowering students as generators, not just consumers, of knowledge. Over the course of the next three semesters, the first-year fellows, Andres Alfonso, Margaret Tilmes, Neval Mulaomerovic, Rachel Klein, Sofia Doroshenko, and Tundaa Dorjnamjim, will work with their assigned faculty mentors to gain hands-on experience as research assistants and learn the necessary skills to carry out their own independent research in their third and fourth years. To learn more about the new MURFs and their unique experiences and research interests, check out their profiles here.
