The University is served by the D2, D6, G2, 31, 32, 36, and 38B Metrobus routes, as well as by the Dupont-Georgetown-Rosslyn and Georgetown-Union Station Circulator Buses. Check the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) website and DC Circulator website for schedules. Each of these bus stops is less than half a mile from the Mortara Center.
The closest Metrorail stops are Rosslyn on the Blue/Orange Line and Dupont Circle on the Red Line. From the Rosslyn stop there is a free Georgetown University Transportation Shuttle (GUTS) Bus service that runs to and from campus between 4:45 a.m. and 12 a.m. This bus will pick you up at the corner of 19th and Moore St. in Rosslyn (one block North of the Metro Station) and will drop you off in the parking lot of McDonough Arena on the Georgetown Campus. The Dupont GUTS Bus will pick you up from the corner of 20th and Massachusetts and drop you off in the parking lot of the Georgetown University Medical Center. Guests may sign in with ID to use these shuttles. Each GUTS stop is about 4/10 of a mile from the Mortara Center.
A limited number of visitor parking spaces are available in the Southwest Garage and can be reached by entering campus from Canal Road. Please see the Georgetown Office of Transportation Management website for hourly and daily parking rates.
There are two public parking lots on Bank Street (between 33rd and 34th) accessible from both M Street and Prospect Street. Please check PMI's website for current parking hours and rates.
There is limited 2-hr street parking in the area.
Handicap access to the Mortara Center can be gained through the side door on 36th Street.
