Anya Wahal

Anya is a sophomore in the School of Foreign Service majoring in Science, Technology, & International Affairs and minoring in Chinese and Computer Science. Anya is from Scottsdale, Arizona, and is interested in the intersection between data and public policy, particularly as it pertains to privacy rights and urban planning. Anya is currently working with Professor Rajesh Veeraraghavan and the Urban Spatial Observatory on projects relating to urban spatial mapping and international development. Outside of the MURF’s program, Anya enjoys cooking with her family and walking her dog. On campus, her main involvements include the Institute of Politics, the Beeck Center for Social Impact and Innovation, and the Delta Phi Epsilon Professional Foreign Service Sorority.
