Khai is an international student from Vietnam, but spent his high school years in New Zealand doing the International Baccalaureate program. Georgetown University is his first time being in the States, and he has been learning from his time here. In particular, Professor Erik Voeten’s proseminar, “Global Governance Lab”, opened his eyes to the structures of the international economic and political systems. It also introduced him to the exciting field of data science through R, which he is currently pursuing through independent self-study. He is excited to continue working with Professor Voeten in MURF to learn more about data analysis and global political economy to set a stepping stone for his future studies in the International Economics major. Outside of MURF, he is currently a stock analyst for the Zeeba Investment Club, a Board Member for GU’s Farmers Market, and a badminton player.
