Manya is a first-year graduate student at the Eurasian, Russian & East European Studies program at the Walsh School of Foreign Service. She has grown in Armenia but has lived in the U.S. for the past 6 years. She received her B.A. from the University of Richmond in May 2021 with majors in Political Science and Global Studies. She also studied at Sciences Po Paris as part of her university's exchange program. Her research interests include Russia's and Turkey's foreign policies as well as regional security issues of Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus.
