Sean is a member of the Class of 2026 in the Edmund A Walsh School of Foreign Service with a focus on the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and policy. He is specifically interested in graph neural networks and the ethics of AI systems. Professor Rajesh Veeraraghavan’s Proseminar on the politics of data bolstered Sean’s former interest in AI and policy. Now, he conducts research with Professor Veeraraghavan on investigating accountability in automated decision-making AI systems. Outside the MURF program, Sean enjoys debating at the Philodemic Society, competing with GU Model United Nations, traveling, and gastronomy.
