GUITARS

Georgetown University International Theory and Research Seminar (GUITARS) is co-sponsored by the Department of Government and the Mortara Center for International Studies. The seminar is intended for faculty and doctoral students in the School of Foreign Service and the Department of Government. Papers are circulated in advance of the meeting, which participants are asked to read them beforehand. Each session features a 15–20 minute presentation by the speaker, followed by brief comments from a PhD discussant and a Q&A period among all participants. For the fall 2022 semester, all sessions will take place on Monday at 12:30 PM in the Mortara Center Conference Room unless otherwise noted.

GUITARS Spring 2023 Schedule

01/30/2023 – Clara Suong, Virginia Tech

04/03/2023 – Stephen Kaplan, The George Washington University (joint with CRITICS)
