Sean Kim
BSFS '26
Sean Kim is a member of the Class of 2026 in the School of Foreign Service, majoring in International Economics with minors in Mathematics and Computer Science. With frequent exposure to business transactions from a young age, Sean naturally became interested in the legal and economic implications of financial restructurings/bankruptcies, mergers, and acquisitions. As a MURF, Sean works with Professor Rajesh Veeraraghavan to study the impact of suboptimal AI decision-making systems in government and welfare settings. Aside from his role at the Mortara Center, Sean is involved in the Philodemic Society, Georgetown University Grilling Society (GUGS), and Georgetown University Model UN (GUMUN). In his free time, Sean always cooks up a new dish in the common room kitchen, plays poker, and, on occasion, goes on scenic drives.
