Solene DeGaynor

Solene DeGaynor is a member of the Class of 2027 in the School of Foreign Service studying Global Business. Growing up with expatriate parents, Solene lived in numerous countries throughout her childhood. Her time experiencing different political structures and cultures sparked an interest in how these systems interact on a global stage. As a MURF, Solene assists Professor Lise Howard in studying global conflict and the impact that UN Security Council interventions have had on mitigating violence. On campus, she is involved in Georgetown Global Consulting, Georgetown International Relations Club, Georgetown Pre-Law Society, and the Georgetown SFS Academic Council. In her free time, Solene enjoys running, discovering new coffee shops, and exploring the city with her friends.
