Standing Seminars
Mortara Research Seminar
The Mortara Research Seminar is a forum for sharing and discussing new research on topics of Comparative Politics and International Relations. The seminar hosts visiting scholars, as well as scholars from Georgetown, who present works-in-progress and receive feedback from the audience. It combines what was formerly the CRITICS and GUITARS seminar series.
PE Seminar
The Political Economy Workshop brings together Georgetown faculty from various disciplines to discuss political economy research in informal sessions over lunch. This seminar is held every other Wednesday from 12:30pm-1:30pm in the Mortara Center Conference Room and is chaired by Professor Nita Rudra. Please note that attendance is limited to Georgetown faculty and invited guests.
