Alexandra Hamilton
Student Assistant
Alexandra is a sophomore in the School of Foreign Service studying Regional and Comparative Studies with a focus on Latin America and the Middle East. She is also hoping to pursue a minor in journalism. Alexandra assists with communication for the Center, running the monthly newsletter, creating social media posts, and writing articles to document the center’s work.
Alexandra hopes to pursue a career in journalism or the State Department, with a focus on bringing diverse perspectives to the field of human rights and conflict-resolution. On campus, she is the DEI committee co-chair for the SFS Academic Council, is an editor for the Georgetown Caravel, and is on the marketing team for the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs. She also has professional experience working with the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, and as a research assistant with the Center for Social Justice, investigating education equity.
