Anish Shrestha
BSFS’28
Anish Shrestha is a member of the Class of 2028 in the School of Foreign Service, majoring in International Politics with a concentration in Foreign Policy. Anish’s curiosity in global affairs comes from his experiences visiting his family in Kathmandu, Nepal, as a child. At Georgetown, he explored his interest in South Asian and Southeast Asian geopolitics in Map of the Modern World with Professor Mike Giordano. As a MURF, Anish now assists Professor Giordano in his research on the intersection of energy, economics, and geopolitics. On campus, he is an editorial assistant for the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs and a barista at The Hilltoss. In his free time, Anish enjoys watching soccer, climbing, hiking, and exploring D.C.
