Nicholas J. Bell

Nicholas J. Bell is a pre-doctoral fellow with the Global Political Economy Project and a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania. His research interests are in public opinion and international trade, and his dissertation explores the barriers to worker participation in the federal Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program and the consequences for trade liberalization in the United States. He received his M.A. in European Studies from the Universiteit van Amsterdam and his B.A. (Honors) in International Relations from the College of William & Mary. Previously, he was a Project Manager with the Teaching, Research, and International Policy (TRIP) Project at William & Mary and a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar serving in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
