Tundaa is a first-year in the School of Foreign Service with strong interests in international development, human rights, and global security in the East Asian region. Her international upbringing has given her a deep appreciation of learning languages and led her to study Chinese for 5+ years. Through the MURF program, she hopes to integrate her language skills and learning from her fall proseminar “The Rise of the U.S. as a Pacific Power,” taught by Professor Toshihiro Higuchi. In addition to learning languages, Tundaa enjoys ceramics, reading historical fiction books, and playing field hockey. At Georgetown, Tundaa is also a Figge Fellow, Compass Fellow, Campus Ambassador for the Women’s Network, and freshman representative for the Japan Network.
