Angela Wang

Angela Wang is a member of the Class of 2029 studying International Economics in Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service. Under Professor Emma Smith’s mentorship, she researches topics at the intersection of behavioral economics and political economy, focusing on how the psychology of scarcity shapes economic decision-making and policy outcomes. Outside of MURF, Angela hosts The Behavioral Blueprint Podcast and leads the Consumer Welfare Alliance, a consumer education nonprofit. She also works as a research analyst at the Center for Security and Emerging Technology, where she studies Chinese emerging technologies and their implications for U.S. national security. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Angela is passionate about technology, entrepreneurship, and consumer behavior.
