Elaine Jiang is a member of the Class of 2029 in the School of Foreign Service and intends to major in International Political Economy. Her interest in international affairs stems from her experiences studying world history and diplomatic mechanisms in high school. She is under the mentorship of Professor Bulelani Jili and looks forward to exploring postcolonial studies, law and justice systems, and global development. Outside of MURF, she competes with Georgetown’s undergraduate Moot Court team, designs for the campus fashion magazine Added to the File, and works as a coordinator for Georgetown Weeks of Welcome. In her free time, Elaine enjoys discussing movies with friends and exploring D.C.
