Kenzo Tanaka

Kenzo Tanaka is a member of the Class of 2029 in the School of Foreign Service, where he plans to pursue Business and Global Affairs. As a MURF, he explores Japan and South Korea through comparative research grounded in economic, historical, and military analysis under the guidance of Professor Toshihiro Higuchi. Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Kenzo has developed a strong interest in the ways policy and political economy shape international relations. Outside of MURF, Kenzo is a proud member of the Japan Network, Georgetown Chimes, and Georgetown Men’s Club Volleyball team. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, spending time with friends, and exploring Washington, D.C.
