Soumya Bodhanapu

Soumya Bodhanapu is a member of the Class of 2029 in the School of Foreign Service, intending to major in International Politics with a concentration in Foreign Policy.  Her first-year proseminar on “21st Century Revolutions and Protests” with Professor Killian Clarke sparked her passion for Middle Eastern politics and revolutionary studies. As part of the Mortara Center, she works with Professor Clarke to examine the durability of personalist autocracies against revolutionary threats. Outside of being a MURF, Soumya is a member of the Immigrant Justice Initiative, Moot Court, and DC Reads. She enjoys walks along the waterfront, dancing with the Georgetown Guzaarish team, and exploring the city with her friends.
