This past summer, Anya Wahal, a Mortara Undergraduate Research Fellow from the Class of 2023, conducted research on the impact of drought in the Colorado River Basin on agriculture in Arizona. Her research, which was supported by Georgetown’s Earth Commons, entailed interviews with farmers in Arizona regarding their experiences with water access. Wahal’s research is published in an article and will be released in a documentary.
