Our Building

The Mortara Center, located in a historic townhouse at 3600 N Street NW, Washington, DC, officially opened in September 2005. The building includes a large conference/ boardroom with advanced audio-visual technology for internationally focused events, classes, and research seminars, along with beautiful office spaces for young researchers and School of Foreign Service faculty members. The Office of Global Education is also housed on the building’s lower level. Since opening its doors, the Mortara Center has created a welcoming home for a vibrant community and dynamic programming, inspiring generations of students and researchers—and will continue to do so well into the future.
