Isabel Ching

Isabel Ching is a member of the Class of 2026 in the School of Foreign Service planning to study Business and Global Affairs or Culture and Politics with an Anthropology minor. As a lifelong New Yorker, Isabel’s interest in the intersection of cultural anthropology and economics was sparked by her upbringing in the nation’s diverse financial capital. Professor Busch’s proseminar, “Rules-Based Global Economy,” deepened her passion for studying the interactions between international markets and cultural institutions. As a MURF, Isabel assists Professor Diana Kim in her research on transnational politics, economies, and culture in Asia. Outside of being a MURF, she is involved in The Corp and Georgetown Climbing. In her free time, Isabel enjoys listening to music, trying new restaurants, and watching soccer.
