BSFS '25
Nia Law is a member of the Class of 2025 at the School of Foreign Service planning to major in International Political Economy. She hails from outside of Columbus, Ohio where her interest in politics, economics, justice, and human rights began. Building from these curiosities, Nia’s proseminar “Rules-Based Economics” cultivated a particular interest in the economics of just international development and institutional design. She is excited to assist Professors Marc Busch and Erik Voeten with their research on the intersection of climate change and international trade agreements. Outside of MURF, Nia is involved with the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, the Hilltop Microfinance Initiative, and Georgetown's radio station WGTB. She also loves coffee, reading and writing, listening to music, and watching soccer.
