Preston Stewart
MURF Program Coordinator
Preston currently serves as the Mortara Undergraduate Research Fellows Program Coordinator. Preston is a student at the Walsh School of Foreign Service, where he is studying for a Master’s in Global Human Development. His studies focus on humanitarian aid and development implementation in conflict-affected contexts. Prior to beginning his studies at Georgetown and joining the Mortara Center, Preston was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Viet Nam’s education sector based outside central Hanoi.
Preston graduated from Harvard College in 2022 with a degree in Government. During his undergraduate studies, Preston also conducted independent research on Cambodia’s post-genocide politics, with a particular interest in Cambodia’s early 21st Century foreign aid relationships as the country’s government balanced the need for economic recovery with regional and national political interests.
