Shane Vincent Stesner

Shane Vincent Stesner is a member of the Class of 2027 in the School of Foreign Service and intends to major in International Politics with a concentration in International Law, Institutions, and Ethics. A New York City native with a love for the great outdoors, he first developed a curiosity for environmental law in high school, an interest that was enriched by his first-year Proseminar class, titled: "The Law and Politics of Climate Change." As a MURF, Shane assists Professor Erik Voeten studying international law's intersection with climate change and environmental policy. On campus, he is an editorial assistant in Global Governance at the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs (GJIA) and a member of the Men's Heavyweight Rowing Team. In his free time, Shane enjoys fishing, surfing, playing guitar, and reading.
