The Current Research on Issues and Topics In Comparative Scholarship (CRITICS) series is co-sponsored by the Department of Government and the Mortara Center for International Studies.

Time and Location: The talks will take place on Mondays 12:30-2:00pm in the Mortara Center (3600 N St., NW).

Format: Following a brief introduction, speakers will present for 30-40 minutes, and the remainder of the time will be Q&A. Lunch catering will be provided. We will strive to share a work-in-progress of the speaker about a week in advance. In contrast to previous years, the seminar participants are not required to read the paper, although doing so would be beneficial.

The CRITICS workshops are run by Marko Klasnja, Assistant Professor in the Department of Government and Diana Kim, Assistant Professor in the Asian Studies Program.

Schedules from previous years of the seminar can be found here
