Chaired by Professors Dr. Nita Rudra and Dr. Rodney D. Ludema, the group meets every other Wednesday from 12:30pm-1:30pm in the Mortara Center Conference Room.

Please note that attendance is limited to Georgetown faculty and invited guests. If you are a Georgetown faculty member and would like to attend, kindly email Daisy O’Brien at mdo43@georgetown.edu for further details.

Fall 2024 Schedule:

  • 09/25 – Abe Newman
  • 10/09 – Pauliina Patana
  • 10/23 – Laia Balcells
  • 11/6 – Zenobia Chan
  • 11/21 – Christopher Lawrence
  • 12/4 – Tiago Moreira Ramalho
  • 12/11 – Jeffrey Anderson and Federico Steinberg

β€œIn these three academic years, the PE seminars have influenced my intellectual trajectory and my abilities as a researcher. Listening to colleagues and peers in a close and trusting environment has allowed me to understand the last frontier research in the field of politics, economics and international relations. It is an activity that I highly recommend.”

– Juan Luis Manfredi, 2021-2024 Prince of Asturias Distinguished Visiting Professor at SFS and Full Professor at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain)
